Easter Friday 3rd April 2015 Reggae Dancehall Extravaganza at The Curve Bar Ipswich Featuring Magi Tuts from Switzerland GALLERY
Review: Missile Sound presented their annual Easter Extravaganza event that shows respect and honour to the foundation reggae artists and sound systems that paved the way to make reggae dancehall music what it is today while taking it into the next generation.
The headliner in 2015 was MAGIC TUTS from Switzerland making history by being the first ever European reggae sound to play in Ipswich Suffolk Uk. Many reggae sound system fans from all over the Uk came to support this annual event built on the foundation of sound system culture.
Magic Tuts wasted no time as they introduce themselves to the crowd, they went straight into their selection mixing & blending all genre of reggae music from Ska, Lovers Rock, Rub A Dub, Dancehall and nowadays one drop tunes which was well appreciated by the crowd. After every round, Magic Tuts received a round of applause which was good to see.
Missile Sound & Magic Tuts played back to back all night and at the end played a host of dubplates in a good manner showing that two sounds can compete without disrespecting each other. The dance was full right until the end of the night with many people staying to show their respect to Magic Tuts for coming to Ipswich and asking when will they ‘Magic tuts’ be back?
Big shout out to Irie J & Darien Prophecy who warm up the crowd with a live Pa singing some sweet reggae songs it added a different spice to the night (Stage Show & Sound System Culture) reminding us of the good old days when artist use to perform on sound systems live in a dancehall style. GALLERY
Many thanks go out to all those that attended, thank you all for your none stop continue support.
