Reggae & Soul Party Review

Saturday 22nd October 2016

Would like to say a “SPECIAL” & “MASSIVE” thank you for all who have supported the “FEEL GOOD” Reggae & Soul Party @ “MIYA” Night Club, Chelmsford Essex, especially to those who came out last Saturday night to the very last event @ this venue.

The night was a very sad, but good joyous send-off as the music was skillfully played by London’s finest Gemi-Magic and also Ipswich’s finest Skippa J from Missile sound and yours truly Black Steel.

As per usual the DJ’s got the crowd going in full effect on the dance floor all night especially the ladies as they took over in fine style. Also special thanks to the birthday crews Lisa Cadogan and her crew, and Gemma Byng who partied hard with some serious dance moves.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and owners of “MIYA” Night Club for allowing the “FEEL GOOD” Reggae & Soul Party brand which caters strictly for the “Mature” that still likes to party, as a lot of venues do not cater for the more mature crowd anymore.

It has been a very uplifting experience holding our events at this venue for a number of years now since my first event there in September 2008 called the “2 Damn Hot” Basement Party which was an all-white attire affair, then it just went from strength to strength from there.

This has been a fantastic and unforgettable experience at this venue and once again I thank you all who have supported our events at this venue and especially those who came to the very last one on Saturday 22nd October 2016.

Black Steel Promotions will be seeking a new venue to hold this event again with the “2 Damn Hot” Bashment Party!!!… watch this space for the return as I will keep you all informed of the progress.

Many thanks & respect again for such a wonderful send-off.

Love you all
