Missile launched Dancehall Extravaganza on Easter Good Friday 2000. Extravaganza started out as a sound system event featuring three or four separate sound systems in one venue at the Ipswich Caribbean Club, where they would be wires & big speaker boxes spread all over the hall. Voted East Anglia’s number one reggae event dance hall extravaganza as grown stronger & stronger an is one of the only events to play 100% real authentic sweet reggae music from Ska, Studio One, Rock Steady, Lovers Rock to nowadays one drop reggae. We show respect to the original reggae artist’s and sound systems that paved the way to make dance hall what it is to day, remembering that back in the day to be a deejay you had to buy records and have your own sound system.. Extravaganza gives you the real ting, heavy weight sound system and not a disco set, original vintage selectors with years of experience who have been in the business way before Mp3′s…..
Thanks go out to all the sounds that have played on Dancehall Extravaganza sounds like Uncle Fee, Negus, Ashanti, Love Shock, Mellow Tone, Venus, Invader, Sir Tropic, Hammer, Platinum, Gemi Magic & Saxon also Irie J & Prophecy who performed live Pa’s which brought something different to Extravaganza and was highly appreciated by the crowd. Dancehall Extravaganza is held once a year on Easter Good Friday making it our Annual Reggae Easter event.Listen to Dancehall Extravaganza 2001 – Missile Sound in a Rub a dub style!!
